Ayurveda and Yoga: Finding your Balance
Saturday, May 30 2:00 – 5:00 pm  $55
Registration before May 25th.
Ayurveda is a 5000 year old system of medicine with its origins in the Vedic culture of India. The foundation is based on harmony and rhythm with nature and its methods focus on ways to bring the body/mind in alignment with its own true nature. In modern life as well as in the ancient times, humans have always had to deal with stressors that will disrupt this balance. We have long since asked: how do we get out of balance and what can we do to bring back balance? This workshop aims to address these questions through the wisdom of Ayurveda, yoga and natural world. Come and explore: - How the body, mind and spirit work together to create balance, harmony and health, - Causes of stress and various courses of action to help correct imbalances such as the use of herbs, diet, lifestyle regimens, exercise and meditation. - How to apply Ayurveda to yoga practices and find your personal balance. This introductory workshop is open to anyone interested in balancing their health and wellbeing. It is a great tool for yoga teachers, holistic practitioners, and  those interested in deepening their practice.
